XL Hunting Pannier (Set of two)

  • Sale
  • Regular price $475.00

Mountain Ridge Gear panniers are created to be versatile. They're made to fit a Decker, sawbuck, or a riding saddle. Finally! One pannier for any set up! Plus, our pack panniers only weigh approximately 10 pounds per set and roll up compactly to fit behind the saddle. MRG panniers are unique because they are modular. The strips of webbing on the side (molle) allow the installation of various pouches, providing easy access to important items along the trail without having to unpack an entire bag!

Our panniers have been extensively tested in the back-country of Colorado in the harshest conditions possible. Before I offer them to you I make certain they will handle what I would put them through. I am confident if gear meets my strict standards it will meet yours. You can rest assured that Mountain Ridge Gear panniers are built to last and will stand up to years of use. One of the most important features of these panniers...they are made in Colorado, USA!

BEST PANNIER EVER

We bought our first set of panniers over five years ago. Loved them so much we bought a second set. We have also bought all kinds of saddle horn bags, cantle bags, etc . Every thing holds up real well, cleaned up great. LOVE the size and the features of every thing Eric makes. Great to see our Veterans come back and do such great things. Love all of the new things that are coming out. Keep up the great work. PS . Hope to see you Eric and family at some of the other showes this year.

I bought a pair of Mountain Ridge hunting panniers at a hunting expo back in the spring. I've since had the chance to get them out on two packing trips: five days in the Wyoming Range and four days in the High Uintas. I'm pretty damn happy with them. They're light, but tough, with tons of room and extra pockets to make stuff like my tree-savers and highline swivel ties easy to find. I especially like the messenger-style flaps and the zippered and velcroed access panel. Makes it easy to secure stuff and retrieve it when I need it, and I know nothing's gonna accidentally fall out when my horse bumps a tree. I usually use the packs on a Decker, and they stay put. I've also tried them on a riding saddle and that configuration was HUGE improvement over the single-unit saddle panniers out there. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!
